Update (its about time!)

So its been forever since I've updated our blog. Here's our update.

Nikki is doing well in St. George and absolutely loving it! She is growing so much in the gospel and is loving sharing it with others. Her mission web site is: http://www.missionsite.net/sisterwheelwright/ if anyone wants to go read her emails and see some of her pics.

Nathan is out of school and will be heading for 7th grade this fall - can you believe it?!? He did well this past year. He was nominated by his science teacher and received a special recognition for science (only 1 boy and 1 girl got this per class - in the 6th grade). And he also got an outstanding award for his science fair project - he received science "dog tags". He also was listed as an outstanding academic student. Way to go Nathan!!

Travis got done with his spring quarter at Highline and did ok in his classes. He has started a summer math class that ends in August. We are trying to get in all the classes he needs for an AA before he graduates from high school next year. He is taking a math and chemistry class every quarter along with other classes he needs. so he has a hard schedule, If he can do good in these classes he will be able to do it! Yeah Washington state for having the "running start" program (it saves us from having to pay two years of college tuition)

Rick has been busy as usual at work and with his calling at church. He has taken some "me" time and gone fishing on the ocean with some friends from work. He brought home the best tasting fish. Black cod I think is what its called - I think I like it better than salmon. He is going out again this next weekend to do some more fishing. I'm hoping he brings back lots of fish!

And me? well it seems I'm always busy keeping track of everyone else. I do give myself time to read a good book though - I just got done reading "Lemon Tart" by Josi S. Kilpack. If you like a good mystery you'll like this and it has several good sounding recipes in it that I am going to try someday!
